Après Minneapolis, c’est Atlanta qui est le théâtre d’une chimpanzerie de masse. Le point de départ des violences raciales dans cette ville est la mort d’un noir lors d’une interpellation par deux policiers blancs. Ce noir dénommé Rayshard Brook était suspecté d’un vol et a résisté à son arrestation. Lorsqu’il s’est emparé du taser d’un des policiers pour essayer de s’en servir, il a été abattu.
